New Survey: “Enhancing Digital Capabilities and Countering Fraud with Advanced Device Intelligence”

New Survey: “Enhancing Digital Capabilities and Countering Fraud with Advanced Device Intelligence”

Financial institutions are building up their digital channels to serve customers who increasingly want to conduct business on mobile phones and online. But as the volume of digital activity grows, and as features such as digital account opening, and real-time approvals and payments become standard, financial services providers need state-of-the-art security technology to counter escalating fraud attacks.

Responses to this new survey of financial services executives suggest that many institutions are unsure about their technology’s capabilities in key areas such as identifying customers’ devices, evaluating them for risk factors such malware and anomalous behavioral signatures, and performing step-up authentication without the weaknesses of pass codes sent via “out-of-band” channels.

Download this survey conducted by SourceMedia Research/American Banker and commissioned by InAuth to find out about the financial industry’s objectives for digital channels, perceptions about fraud and confidence in existing defenses.
